Sweet Construction and Sour Indigestion

The Delectible Domiciles
Our Delicious Designers
The Family Foreman
For Christmas every year, we have made a tradition of decorating gingerbread houses. Our friend Gayle provides us with the supplies as a gift every year, but this year the dog decided that the undecorated house looked just too tempting. Although we own a fairly small dog, he has a fairly big mouth with enough suction to digest a gingerbread house in less than the five seconds it takes to shoo him off the table. So, Aislinn and Liam combined forces with Mommy to create a house this year. No sooner did we get all three houses done and photographed, then the kids started picking them apart and eating them. The houses were beautiful, but sour stomachs were had by all, including Miles, who retreated with his tail between his legs.

We decorate gingerbread houses every year too! I think it's a great tradition, the kids look forward to it.

You know, Josh has discovered the word Naked and loves to describe anything that way. He saw Aislinn and he said (very seriously), "She's very, very naked, Mom."

teehee - it cracked me up!
