Where am I and why am I chasing this ball?
So, today was the first soccer game in our city soccer league. Bowen and Cedrich are officially members of the Stingers, due to the yellow and black uniforms. The first few minutes of the game were mostly spent trying to figure out why everyone was running around and then the boys joined in the stampede. Although not the star athletes, they were usually not the ones that paused for cartwheels or picked the dandelions. Bowen got a chance to play goalie during the second half and though, he let one goal in, he had a great time doing it. Aislinn felt left out of the celebration and photography, so she posed for her own picture. The Stingers were defeated, four goals to three. But, a good time and cheese and crackers were had by all. Cute pictures--I would've been the one picking dandelions.
Looks like fun! I was never the star player on any team, either, so that's okay, of course! As long as they are having fun!
